Readers of The Carmarthenshire Antiquary will recall articles by Terry James (Carmarthenshire Antiquary xxxiv. (1998) 128) and Peter Wihl (Carmarthenshire Antiquary xxxvii. (2001) 129-30) on the Carmarthenshire Place-Name Survey. Many members who contributed to the 2001 survey have expressed appreciation of this undertaking by the Welsh Place-Name Society to make their contribution available to a wider audience.
