Protecting the Place Names of Wales

30 September 2018: A Walk on Pumlumon

On Sunday 30 September the Society held a place-name walk, capably led by Angharad Fychan, in the Nant-y-moch area and Pumlumon. More than 20 people took part and there was an opportunity to hear about the origins of several historic names on the way. The walkers enjoyed lunch on the banks of Llyn Llygad Rheidol, before venturing to climb to the summit of Pumlumon Fawr.
